Scott Jarkoff's Blog: Kirin Unveils ‘Strong Seven’ Beer with Higher Alcohol Content

Why they have been allowed to do this, is beyond me! It appears that our society, is relying on Alcohol to help them through today's worry's/struggles/sorrow's/stress etc etc. Which is exactly what I & my late husband did for 30 yrs. It does indeed help one through life's difficult problems, but it carry's it's OWN problem, that NOTHING will get rid of. All alcohol contains sufficient drug like powerful grasp, that so easily destroys ones health! Currently there are NO cures either!
Therefore, one, two or three drinks can calm ones anxiety, so that your own opinion, of YOUR situation, seems not quite so bad. BUT, just wait until its worn off, then things in your miserable life, seem so much worse!!
Oh, one more thing..........after some time/or little time ? differ's with each individual - Alcohol itself may get somewhat BORED, then deal you a real nasty blow, to your..........um.......oh ya, HEALTH !!!!!!!!! Then, your entire life is jolted beyond belief !!!
So dearest 'KIRIN', making the almighty dollar appears paramount to you, right now. Wait until there are so many illness's from drinking, that many cannot work, therefore will not have sufficient income to spend on your freaking beer!!! Will we see you in, ohhhh, say, BANKRUPTCY !!!
One suggestion Sir's, REMOVE this high quantity of Alcohol in your precious Beer, PLEASE, before it's too late !
    Thankyou.

    What's in this shite?

I'll know tomorrow, the effects atleast. I drank 2 500ml bottles.
    I'll try and post.

If Kirin wanted to take a bigger share of the market with an edgy beer, they could try making something with a bit more flavor. Strong Seven is just another light-tasting beer. Nothing new here except the more apparent flavor of alcohol. Kirin could take some lessons from Belgian wheat beers and start brewing with herbs/spices -- then I might try it again. For the moment, this one's a bust.

I am not sure if a strong beer sells better, there are many people that don't really find this as an important detail. This is the case for me an my friends. I think the most important think on a beer is the taste, you can tell if the product is high quality or not just by tasting it.
